Hi, i have just bought two BL2845 3600kV water cooled inruner brushless motors for a 23 inch fiber glass catermran hull. The info given on the giantcod site page says that it requires a 40 amp esc but in the revews one customer said that due to inexperence he blew up the esc that he bought and thought that he would need to replace it with a 100 amp esc. as i am new to rc boats my self coud any one on this forum give me advice on the corect esc to use, the no load voltage range of motor is 6-15 and has 1.5 amp max current and 4.5 amp max power300w/605.
