As per a previous post, I'm using a gyro on my Baronette's rudder to reduce swing on take-off, it works but really does need switching out after take off, otherwise it can tend to dominate attempts to turn once in the air. On elevator though? As Andy said, probably better to correct the thrustline if possible, otherwise do as I have on my Cularis, and mix in a few % down elevator with the throttle.
