It is however still exactly the same size.
It using the existing "thin" wing but mated to a new "Wing Dragon style" fuselage made entirely of Depron sheet. As a result it weighs just 9.6oz including a 1500mAh 3s LiPo (an original WD weighs 23). On a 7x6 prop there is 12oz thrust available but it only draws 8 amps (88 watts) to do it so, in theory, it could sustain a vertical climb for 10 minutes.

The biggest problem is the small frontal area and pale wings makes it almost impossible to see when 'head on' at any distance.
Now if I could find some cheap light solar panels............
